How Can I Take A Great Thing & Make It Even Better?

The Probiotic Bacteria That Actually Works: GLB18, GLB44, and GLB3

I've been involved in the probiotic supplement industry for almost ten years. When we began selling our first probiotic at Juice Press, I got close to some amazing scientists from Bulgaria and Harvard University. What I've learned and seen consistently is simple: all probiotics are not equal. They may have the prestigious title, but they're not necessarily effective.

How Scientists Test Probiotics

When researchers study a probiotic, they observe it under a microscope to see how it works against non-pathogens. They study the different proteins friendly bacteria release as chemical weapons to destroy pathogenic cells, the bad guys. The series of probiotics worth using are Lactobacillus plantarum, specifically GLB18 and GLB3. Both have similar characteristics that make them extremely effective.

Why These Two Strains Matter

The first characteristic that makes these bacteria effective is that they survive the low pH balance of your stomach. Most good bacteria in supplement form are destroyed before they reach the stomach's low pH environment. This is why some probiotic supplements pack in larger numbers of cells, betting that if there are more of them, some will survive the journey.

GLB18 and GLB3 don't need that strategy. They're lab-proven to survive stomach acid and reach the lower gastrointestinal tract intact, where they find food, multiply, and colonize. That's the difference between a probiotic that works and one that becomes expensive urine.

The Front Line of Your Immune System

Probiotic supplementation is the most effective way to boost your immune system through supplements, more effective than vitamin C or any other nutrient component. Why? Because the front line of your immune system's defense occurs in the digestive system. Probiotics are the front line soldiers.

If anything damages the balance of good bacteria, whether antibiotics or other factors, your immune system becomes easily compromised. Some people struggle with repopulating good bacteria and end up dealing with multiple illness symptoms. These strains help prevent that.

How They're Actually Produced

The strongest and best probiotics are grown in vegetable juice, not dairy medium. When the juice is dried, the good bacteria remain alive but in suspended state until they hit moisture at the right temperature in your body. Their immediate goal is to find food and multiply. Plant-based production matters because animal-based mediums introduce allergens including lactose that many people cannot tolerate.

The Harvard Connection

These probiotics were produced in Bulgaria and underwent preliminary testing with Harvard. Harvard found interesting results. That research is available on Harvard's website at glb44.org. I witnessed their efficacy firsthand in myself and my family. I saw what they did.

Why I No Longer Sell Them

My access to this vendor expired. Period. These high-quality probiotics are still available in Europe, manufactured in Bulgaria by the same laboratory that worked with Harvard. I hope one day to reconnect with the manufacturer. The science doesn't change. The efficacy doesn't change. Neither does my belief in what these strains can do.

If you're researching probiotics, read reliable governmental sites. Avoid the myths in the abstracts. The marketing noise is designed to confuse you into buying inferior products at higher prices. Don't fall for it.

Peace. I love you.
