Most people can’t imagine the nervous system benefits of a plant-based diet because they don’t give themselves long enough to actually detox, mentally, emotionally, socially, consumer behavior wise, all of that. It takes ten years to forget what it was like to eat animal protein, and then you just start noticing the difference, recovery times, anxiety levels, sleep, energy in general. Not to mention, why do we have to kill things? That’s a big one. There’s no real reason we do it except that it’s a custom, something everybody around us was doing when we were born, and we just never questioned it.
