Keep the Light Alive

Keep the Light Alive

Look into the light.

Remember this, fellow travelers. The light is real. It lives in the mind, but it is not only imagination. It reflects a deeper source of life, warmth, and awareness that surrounds us. You can sit with your eyes closed toward the sun and gently receive its brightness, allowing its warmth to settle into your awareness. Pause there. Feel it. Let yourself remember it.

Then, in meditation, return to that light. Visualize it again. Hold it gently in your awareness as you breathe deeply. Let it become a steady point within you. If anxiety rises, do not resist it. Fear is part of life. It is one of the mind’s oldest tools, designed to sense risk and prepare for uncertainty. Everyone carries fear. Even when one fear fades, another can take its place. The mind is built to stay alert.

That is why practice matters, especially in moments of calm. When life is quiet and nothing feels wrong, that is the time to go deeper. Stay present with yourself. Notice fear without fighting it. Let it exist. Keep breathing. If emotion rises, allow it. If clarity comes, receive it. Speak honestly with someone you trust. Seek guidance if needed. Move toward what is difficult with patience and compassion.

And if you find yourself carrying less pain than others, be grateful. Perhaps you are simply a little further along your path. Rest there with humility. Keep the light steady, not only for yourself, but for those still finding their way.

We are all moving, each in our own time, each in our own way, but in the same direction. Toward greater clarity. Toward peace.
