What is happiness? In my understanding, happiness is a subjective experience that varies for each conscious being. While I will primarily focus on humanity, it is important to acknowledge that humans possess similar consciousness while experiencing things differently. To enhance consciousness and increase the likelihood of experiencing happiness, it is beneficial to define happiness and the specific elements necessary for one's personal happiness. Upon analyzing these definitions, it becomes evident how much of our happiness requirements are influenced by mindsets versus material possessions, accomplishments, and external events.

I believe a significant portion of happiness is inherently linked to a sense of physical safety and the assurance that our needs will be met. However, a substantial part of true happiness, especially in mature adulthood, stems from the mindsets and thoughts we cultivate. It is safe to say that achieving external success and cultivating a skillful mindset both require considerable time, practice, growth, and maturity. Individuals who are highly accomplished understand that perfection is unattainable and do not strive for it.

Part of attaining happiness is recognizing this and embracing a progressive journey of self-improvement. It is essential to identify the qualities one wishes to develop and the aspects of their personality they seek to shed. Happiness may not necessarily lie in accomplishing these objectives but in the process of working towards them and finding contentment in that pursuit. This necessitates self-awareness and engaging in an inner dialogue, where we calmly and positively communicate with ourselves, emphasizing reality's positive aspects. This becomes especially important during challenging situations when we may feel inclined to struggle or experience anxiety.

Alongside analyzing the situation for potential threats, we must calm ourselves and focus on the truths we have identified. It is crucial to remind ourselves that our ultimate life goal is to liberate our minds from unnecessary suffering. This accomplishment surpasses material wealth, possessing a beautiful kingdom, or acquiring numerous academic degrees. Cultivating the right mindset is intertwined with our physical well-being, as the body and mind are interconnected and inseparable. Viewing them as separate entities is an erroneous perspective; they are the vessel and the content simultaneously.

While consciousness remains inexplicable, it feels like an energy flowing through our bodies, observing and being influenced by the karma created through our experiences. It seems that consciousness itself desires to learn, thus creating a material world as its mirror. Despite the profound insights shared by philosophers, astrophysicists, biologists, and doctors, the true nature of consciousness remains unknown.

We may feel that we are nearing an understanding when someone articulates beautiful thoughts about consciousness and human existence, but the reality is that we are still far from comprehending its depths. Each of us, however, carries the responsibility to experience a fragment of consciousness, collect and record data for this magnificent machine, and contribute it back to the collective consciousness.

Consequently, we progress to the next phase of existence. It can be challenging not to become attached to our physical bodies, presenting a paradox. The body, in order to exist, possesses survival mechanisms and an innate desire to live. The mind controls emotions, and under the right circumstances, one can lose the will to live. However, this goes against the body's natural inclination. It is suffering created within the mind.

For readers, the journey involves making an effort to understand ourselves and others compassionately. It represents one dimension of the human mind, reflecting our complexity as creatures with free will and intelligence. Unlike beings programmed with specific instructions on how to live, we possess general instincts such as the instinct to survive, seek companionship, and defend ourselves when threatened.

However, we lack innate knowledge about what to eat, how to walk, or how to hunt; we must learn these skills. Character development is crucial, especially since it is natural for young individuals to be selfish and easily influenced by negative emotions like jealousy or anger. 

Happiness is available to everyone whose mind is not broken. However, the journey to happiness is not a straightforward path. It requires self-reflection, introspection, and a willingness to confront and heal past wounds. Healing from past traumas and negative experiences is an important step towards finding lasting happiness.

The process of healing requires us to delve into our past, to unearth buried emotions and confront the pain that lies within. It can be a challenging and sometimes painful journey, but it is necessary for growth and personal transformation. By acknowledging and working through our past experiences, we can begin to release the grip they hold on our present and future.
