I think of our lives as jogging calmly down the path from the very beginning to the very end of your life. Along the way, we have to slow down to rest or pick up the pace to get ahead. There will be obstacles on the path like the death of a loved one or a break up in a relationship or having financial problems or disease.
1. Embracing Life's Unexpected Events
Writing assignment: Make a list of all the wacky things that can happen to us as human beings on the planet and work to not create them. Work to liberate yourself.
2. Liberating Oneself from Self-Made Suffering
Work: liberate yourself from self-made suffering so that you have all the energy you need to deal with the suffering that comes with just being here alive in the human form.
3. Understanding the Natural Role of Anxiety
I no longer stigmatize anxiety because I understand that anxiety is really a natural part of life. It’s the reason why we actually survive.
Life's journey is filled with ups and downs, obstacles and unexpected events. By embracing these challenges and actively working towards liberation from self-made suffering, individuals can navigate the path with greater resilience and energy. Recognizing the natural role of anxiety allows for a deeper understanding of its purpose and enables individuals to approach it with a more compassionate mindset. Embracing life's journey and liberating oneself leads to a more fulfilling and meaningful existence.
