Once upon a time, in a world full of tiny creatures, there were many different kinds of bugs.
Some bugs are scary, and some bugs are beautiful.
Some bugs are colorful, and some bugs are really hairy.
Some bugs are my favorite color, and some bugs are creepy and crawl upside down on the ceiling while I’m making pee-pee.
Some bugs make webs to catch flies, some bugs go buzz, buzz, buzz, and others drink the candy from pretty flowers.
Some bugs are really big and yucky, and some bugs are really tiny and cute.
Some bugs bite and make us itchy, and some bugs tickle with their little feet.
Some bugs live in trees, and some bugs live in dirt. Some bugs live in the bathroom, and some bugs live in the trash can. Some bugs live on leaves, and some bugs live on garbage.
Some bugs live inside me, and some bugs live on me.
Bugs are a beautiful part of this world. They are necessary. Most bugs are good for the world. The 'bad' bugs may be here to keep balance, and keep harmony. So, even the bad bugs have a place in this world.
Most bugs are good for the birds and the bees. Bees even have bugs that live on them, and those bugs have even smaller bugs that live on them, too.
The soil that grows delicious food is filled with so many tiny bugs, but we can’t see them.
Sometimes, I’m scared of bugs because I’m a little child, and bugs look like shapes and patterns that are naturally strange and scary to me. But when bugs look at me with their many eyes, they might think I look kind of strange and scary, too. Bugs can see my teeth and see me with a newspaper, running after them, trying to smash them against the window. Bugs know that people like to smash them.
Some bugs are really, really, really important. They help flowers bloom and trees grow leaves.
Bugs don’t want to meet me, they scurry away, Because I’m so big, they don’t want to stay.
But now I’m curious, I want to see, What ALL the bugs in the universe might be.
Are they buzzing in flowers, or crawling on trees? Are they dancing in sunlight, or floating on the breeze?
Bugs are busy, both near and far, And I wonder what they’re doing, wherever they are.
